I already realized I forgot one thing! Pizza has a new game..it's called Dig. The beauty of Dig is that it can be played anywhere, anytime. Here is a video of Pizza honing her dig skills.

Wednesday
Today is Wednesday, which means that Pizza forgot to remind me to post for like 2 days! What a bad memory she has.
Yesterday we bought Pizza a puppy pad that is impossible for her to eat. Instead of accepting this, she seems to see it as more of a challenge. I feel like maybe she will be successful.
Today I took Pizza for a walk after work. I think we did such a good job training her to pee on her puppy pad that she doesn't realize she can pee outside where ever she wants. We walked, then on the way home she sprinted the whole way so she could get inside to pee. I wonder how we will fix this problem.
On a happy note, Pizza found two of her toys which had been missing for about 2 weeks! I don't know where they were or where she found them..what a tricky girl. I wonder what else she is hiding...
Pizza's grandma Jane bought us a book of dog training for dummies. I must say, I think it's finally time I broke down and read it. Don't worry, I'll keep all three of you followers up do date on the progress of training her.
I think Pizza needs a job.

Pizza Tricks
We have been working on teaching Pizza "dead dog", where she just lies flat on her back. Ideally the goal is to be able to make a gun with our hand and have her lay like this. Well, unfortunately Pizza only accepts the literal translation. She has tried to kill herself twice upon the command of her mother and father by leaping to her death off of the bed. Luckily her attempts have been unsuccessful. I'm torn about moving forward with the trick...on the one hand, it's a cool trick. On the other, Pizza might not make it all the way to learning the proper execution. Perhaps that was not the right choice of words....
That's not really new news, but I thought of it because of something that just happened. I was just brushing Pizza while I was sitting on the couch and she was on my lap. I tried to reward her with a Beggin Strip, but she may have fallen off of my lap while I was trying to get it..
..Good dead dog

Today
Pizza was left home alone today from 10am-5:30pm. That's 7 1/2 hours and the most hours she has been home alone ever. I must say, she was a good girl, no accidents (that there is evidence of). Who knows what really happens here when no one is around.
I got a hair cut today at a new place..I told the new girl about Pizza. I think I made a pretty positive first impression.
After being locked in her "home" for so long today, Pizza has gone psycho. She is on my lap right now eating the coffee table. I gave her dinner, but she opted not to eat it. Wood, I guess, tastes better. She also likes to eat the pole in the middle of the apartment. I think she like asbestos. Ouch, she just hit her head on the coffee table. Luckily the asbestos must have numbed her and she did not feel it, she just continues trying to bite and kill me. Good girl Pizza.

Pizza Gets Pretty
Thanks dog whisperer Kat!
PS, Pizza is in her pen area right now trying to eat the newspaper. I said "No", and I'm pretty sure she spoke back. I'm 90% sure she mocked me and said "no". Kids....

Pizza Monday

Today is Monday..nothing too exciting to post today. Pizza has almost successfully killed her stuffed dog friend, good news!
I went to the pet store today and asked for "that angel eye stuff" which is supposed to get rid of the tear stains under her eyes. The girl at the register thought I asked for "angel eye scent"..she asked a few other people if they had it. I did not correct her. After a little while, they figured out what I wanted.
Whelp, I guess that's pretty much it for today..unless something really cool happens. In the meantime, here is a picture of the wonderful day that we got Pizza. My has she grown in this short amount of time!

Pizza's Dad

Happy Father's Day to Pizza's dad, daddy. Pizza and her daddy were very brave and stayed home alone all by themselves last night. She went to a cookout and made new friends. She also ate large amounts of grass, leaves and bugs. We feed Pizza real food, but she seems to prefer grass.
Pizza also went to the vet on Friday (sorry to not tell you sooner!). She got two shots and now has another pretty dog tag. Unfortunately, she still has a little bit of kennel cough, so we had to cancel her hair appointment.

Pizza Update
Now that I have done my introduction, it's time to start my updates on what Pizza is doing.
Currently I am sitting on the couch, and Pizza is nipping at my toes. Sometimes she barks at them. She's wagging her tail, which leads me to believe that she thinks this is a new game. My toes don't really like this new game, but I think I would lose a finger in an attempt to stop the toe biting. I think when you are a mom you have to pick your battles. Let her have the toes...

Introducing...Pizza!

About 3 weeks ago my wonderful boyfriend Miles bought me Pizza. Since then, I have become obsessed! I love Pizza so very much. Unfortunately, I am not allowed to have Pizza at work, so we are apart allll day. I think about Pizza when we cannot be together. Come 5:00pm though, I get to have my Pizza fix.
So, I'm starting this blog because I imagine I cannot be the only person out there obsessed with Pizza. I know my mom, sister, and boyfriend are. Soon the world will be too.
Welcome to the Pizza blog!
* Side note, I have never had a blog before, nor have I ever read one, so I don't really know how they go or how they work. Don't judge me or Pizza.
